Professor Aleš Valič, Vice-Rector

He graduated from the Academy of Theatre, radio, film and television in 1977. After graduation he got a position at the Stalno Slovensko gledališče in Trieste. As a relatively young actor he got engagement at the theatre Drama in Ljubljana and soon became one of the outstanding members of the theatre stage and theatre lead. He created many outstanding characters for theatre, film, radio and TV. In 1993 he became professor at the Academy of Theatre, radio, film and television, and since 2005 has been acting as its dean. He was appointed  vice-rector of the University of Ljubljana in 2009.
