Academic calendar

The academic year starts in Slovenija on 1 October and concludes on 30 September. University Senate of the University of Ljubljana adopts academic calendar every year and with it defines the periods of:

• organized study activities
• holidays
• three examination periods and
• university week, usualy held on the first week in December, celebrating the establishing of the university and organizing various events in this context.
