Andreja Kert, B.L. , Secretary General

Andreja Kert was one of the most outstanding students of the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. After graduation she got a position of an advisor at the Gorenjska banka. For two years she was employed at the Municipality of Tržič, and during   1993 to 1999 was advisor of the   National Assembly (secretary in different working  bodies). Following that, until  2001  she was state secretary at the  Ministry of Economic Relations and Development, heading the unit for State Aid Control. The career led her to the Ministry of Finance where she acted as a secretary of  the legal service in the period from 2002 to 2006 to become  director general of the Public Property Directorate in  2009. From 2006 to 2008 she was the manager of the Succession Fund and after that  Assistant Secretary at the Faculty of economics.   Andreja Kert has been engaged in managerial positions for more than ten years; she is the    Chairman of the supervisory board of   SID banka d.d. Ljubljana and member of the supervisory board of the  Casino Portorož d.d. She was also the Chairman of the board of  AJPES (2002-2006). In February 2010 she became the Secretary General of the University of Ljubljana.
