Description of the sport recreational programme

You will learn about the doctrine of yoga and other forms of relaxation (historical development, philosophy of yoga, creative visualization, autogenous training and other contemporary forms of relaxation), physiological processes in the body (the effects of asanas, pranayama, meditation, visualization, etc. ), as well as the psychological aspects of the relaxation. Exercises are related to the proper execution of basic and special exercises which are related to the experiential and spiritual component of spreading consciousness (the system of yoga in daily life, meditation, self-analysis, therapeutic effects, awareness of body, spirit and soul, imagination, visualization).


Sports clothes, towel, bottle of water.

Duration of the sport recreational programme

60 hrs


The sport recreational programmes are financed by the University of Ljubljana. For students of the University of Ljubljana the sport recreational programmes are free of charge. Participation in the sport recreational programmes is at the student’s own risk.
