PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
1. POSITION:
- University teacher - assistant professor.
- Status: full-time engagement.
- Type of contract: (permanent)
2. CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- Required education/level and area: doctoral degree (PhD)in the field of Food.
- Valid habilitation title: the candidate must have academic title at the rank of assistant professor in the field of nutritional education.
- At least 5 years work experience in higher education.
- Knowledge of Slovenian language.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- designing and updating course syllabus according to the university and higher-education professional programme requirements;
- organization (or cooperation in ) the activities related to the implementation of the teaching programme according to the syllabus, with application of research findings; coordinating work and supervising other staff engaged in the teaching programme;
- giving lectures to students and conducting seminars at the post-graduate level;
- offering individual mentorship to students (consultations, tutoring, contact hours, etc);
- testing student knowledge (exams, colloquia, seminar works, diploma defenses)
- directing students in their research and study activities, providing mentorship to students in preparing their diplomas, master and doctoral theses and similar;
- engaging in scientific research work.
- participation in other activities related to the teaching and/or research work in the field of profession (eg nostrification, expertise, etc..) ;
- performing other tasks, that fall substantially in a wider professional range of the post, by order of Dean, Vice Deans (for their respective areas) or Head of the Department,
