On 18 September 2015, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana will hold a whole-day event entitled The EU PROJECT-MY PROJECT Open Days in lecture room P1, organised by the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy. Among other, the event will also hold a presentation of 13 completed projects relating to the maintenance and development of metrology system infrastructure by the Metrology Institute of the Republic of Slovenia.
An indicative programme of the Open Days:
- 8.30-9.00 Arrival of participants and distribution of promotional materials
- 9.00-10.20 Presentation of individual projects
- 10.20-10.40 Break
- 10.40-12.10 Presentation of individual projects
- 12.10-13.00 Lunch break
- 13.00-14.45 Presentation of individual projects
- 14.45-15.05 Break
- 15.05-16.20 Presentation of individual projects
- 16.20-16.50 Discussion and conclusion
Events will also take place at 30 other locations across Slovenia and are entirely free of charge. Some activities require registration, which is why you should ensure your attendance by visiting the website.
The Open Days to the projects partly financed from the European funds in the 2007-2013 period are used by the Government Service to inform the general public of the effects and results of the projects as well as of the possibilities, conditions and methods to obtain EU funds. A successful result of cooperation in EU projects is also special laboratory equipment partly financed from European funds and used by the Metrology and Quality Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana.
