Researchers’ Night is a pan-European event taking place in most European countries on the same day and aiming to convey the career and life of a scientist to the general public. This year the event will be joined by members of the University of Ljubljana, and the programme will take place in six locations: Novi trg in Ljubljana, Novo mesto, Izola, Planica, Šentvid Grammar School and the Ljubljana Marshes Nature Park.
The central event of this year’s Researchers’ Night will take place on Friday, 25 September 2015, at 4 p.m. at Novi trg in Ljubljana. It will offer a wide range of interesting events and activities from energy, ecology, health, natural sciences and ICT. By way of different experiments, demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions, games and guided tours, it will give visitors a chance to get actively involved. The programme on the main stage will be hosted by Sašo Hribar.
