Language teacher Tatjana Komarova from the Faculty of Arts Chair for Russian Language at the University of Ljubljana received the Medal of Pushkin, a state decoration for special achievements in spreading the Russian language and the promotion of Russian culture, awarded by the President of Russia.
Tatjana Komarova received the Medal of Pushkin from the ambassador of the Russian Federation, His Excellency Dr Doku Zagajev, who also congratulated her for more than 20 years of her teaching career and for devotion to her profession. Present for the award ceremony were also high representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Slavic Languages and the Slovene-Russian Society.
