For some time now, the companies MAHLE Letrika and Letrika Lab from Šempeter pri Gorici have been successfully cooperating with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana in the fields of scientific and industrial research and want to upgrade cooperation to include education and personnel training as well. To this end, they signed a letter of intention on co-operation at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
This cooperation will concern scientific and industrial research, education and personnel training in the following scope:
- research and development in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and mechatronics to meet the needs of industrial partners,
- education of undergraduate students,
- education of postgraduate and doctoral students,
- education and guidance of students, primarily in the fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering as well as their faster integration in the industrial environment,
- the promotion of professional education in the fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering in secondary schools,
- participation in domestic and international tenders with a view of obtaining funding for research and development to meet the needs of industry.
By signing the letter of intention on cooperation we set solid foundations for a good long-term cooperative partnership which will create a state-of-the-art, high-end technological future and achieve excellent business, pedagogical and scientific research results.
