 At its regular meeting on 23. 3. 2017, the Government of RS has appointed the members (government representatives) to the Governing Board of the University of Ljubljana.

The new members are:
1. Dr. Peter Umek
2. Mag. Urban Krajcar
3. Jože Colarič 

In addition to the appointment of new members, the Government also gave its consent to the appointment of Mag. Vojmir Urlep as a representative of employers.

On Monday, 27th January 2017, were at the University of Ljubljana the elections of the representatives of the university teachers, researchers and faculty assistants, other workers and employers' representatives in the Governing Board of the University of Ljubljana. 

The following members were elected:

a) from the university teachers, researchers and faculty assistants:
4. Prof. Dr. Borut Božič
5. Prof. Dr. Anton Grizold
6. Prof. Dr. Rajko Pirnat  

b) from the other workers:
7. Assist. Prof. Dr. Tone Češnovar 

c) as employers' representatives:
8. Mag. Vojmir Urlep  

The students' representative in the Governing Board of the University of Ljubljana is
9. Matej Drobnič, the student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.   

By this all the members of the Governing Board of UL are elected and appointed. The mandate of the old Governing Board of UL expires on 22nd of April this year. The inaugural meeting of the new Governing Board of UL will be in April.
