In its 93rd regular session, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed the rector of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr. Radovan Stanislav Pejovnik, as President of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO for a five-year term, with the possibility of reappointment. In the same session, the Government also adopted the Decision on the Establishment and Mandate of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO. The proposed Decision observes the comments and suggestions of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO in its earlier composition and the suggestions of the Working Group.
