In all countries, economists assume the top positions in society, are managers of the largest enterprises and banks, ministers and prime ministers, governors of central banks as well as managers of prestigious consultation companies and analytics departments. Economics is thus one of the elite programmes at the most prestigious universities, where only a few percent of the best students are accepted. It is the same in Slovenia. Economics is a demanding study, requiring an ambitious and motivated individual with good analytical abilities. An individual who will be able, as shown by many examples, to make decisions in a key position in the business sector and in state policymaking. Why? Because graduates of the master study programme Economics are capable of resolving economic and business problems that other people are generally unable to identify or classify as important. If you are ambitious, unafraid of hard work and eager to make important social decisions in your life, then enrolling in the Economics programme will help you achieve your goals. Programme Economics can be also part of Double degree programme.
