CARE Technology Consensus Meeting with invited experts from industry and academia & EUROP member assembly, 29.-30. Oktober 2008, Pisa, Italija

Dear friends of robotics,

Many of you will be aware of the “Coordination Action for Robotics in Europe” (CARE, http://www.robotics-care.eu/), a European project funded under FP6. In cooperation with partners from research and industry the CARE consortium is developing a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) for Robotics in Europe based on the one originally produced b the EUROP ETP (http://www.robotics-platform.eu/).

To complete the SRA, we would now like to have your input on the matter. You are therefore cordially invited to the CARE Consensus Meeting: 29 - 30 October 2008 at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (SSSA) in Pisa.

The meeting will look deeper into technologies that are relevant to the different robotics domains. Input from experts coming from both, industry and academia, is needed and very much appreciated.

The event coincides with the EUROP Member assembly. EUROP members are going to take a vote on a new governance structure, terms of reference and filling of the EUROP positions.
More information on both events will be sent out in due time to give you the possibility to prepare for the working group sessions and upcoming decisions concerning EUROP.

Please complete the attached application form by the 13th of October 2008 and return it to the CARE Office () if you would like to attend.  Please coordinate with your colleagues from your company to reduce our overheads. Due to space limitations we may need to balance the distribution of the different sectors but will make every effort to give everyone the chance to participate. Attendance is free of charge.
