CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, Financial seminar, Vienna, 7 April 2011

Dear Lead Partners and Project Partners,

The CENTRAL EUROPE Joint Technical Secretariat would like to inform you that it organises a Financial Training/Workshop in Vienna on 7 April 2011.

The training is addressed to the Lead and Project Partners of all approved projects of the third call for proposals.

This training will last from 9:00 – 13:30 hrs. and will concentrate on providing information related to the financial management of the CE projects and First Level Control. 

Furthermore, the Central Europe First Level Control Body from Slovak Republic has decided to organise a national workshop in the afternoon, 14:30 - 17:00 hrs., providing information about national eligibility rules and other important information deemed as necessary. The Slovak Partners are kindly invited to join also this part of the training. (The other Members States will organise their workshops locally.)

Information on the venue is attached to this email. The agenda will be provided at a later date.

This e-mail is sent to the Lead Partners and all Project Partners. Nevertheless, we kindly ask all Lead Partners to ensure that also all Partners, as well as other relevant actors within their projects (e.g.: project finance managers), are informed on this event. Furthermore, Lead Partners and Project Partners located in countries with a de-centralized control systems are invited to forward this e-mail to their First Level Controllers, too.

The participation to the event is strongly recommended by the JTS.

IMPORTANT

Project partners coming from EU countries outside the CENTRAL EUROPE area can only have their travel and accommodation costs reimbursed on condition that the country’s relevant authority is prepared to sign an agreement on rights and responsibilities with the MA of the Programme CENTRAL EUROPE. The MA cannot be held responsible in case no authority is willing to sign such agreement. In such case no disbursement of subsidies can be effected to the involved partners.
