Title: Sustainable chemical technologies, energy, advanced materials, pharmacologically active compounds

Type Details: Research groups at Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology have expertise in the field of chemical and environmental engineering, applied chemistry and material science (wastewater treatment, solid waste, nanostructured polymer composites, (bio)ceramics, (bio)catalysts, green chemistry technology, environmental chemistry, energy - hydrogen and fuel cells, syntheses of novel organic compounds, advanced analytical methods). Research groups have also excellent relationship with policy stakeholders, utilities and SME and international experience in projects which have been mainly performed in the framework of FP-5, FP-6, NSF, COST - Action CM0701, SCOPES 2009-2012 (Swiss National Science Foundation), CEEPUS, multi- and bilateral projects, EUREKA, TEMPUS, UKF and national projects(http://www.fkit.hr/en/;http://bib.irb.hr/lista-ustanove?sifra=125&period=2007).
