Project Proposal

Title: LAMCRISMATO

Type Details: The undertaken project implements the practical aspect of using state of the art technology and its application to cope with vast problems (crisis management, flood crisis, effective integration of national systems). It also engages leading research centres in Europe in active development of methodology and technology. The toolchain will allow implementation of the rule of the unity of organization's activities at all levels of responsibility for the benefit of prevention, counteraction and elimination of the effects of crisis situations and it will assure basic material, psychological needs of the society. A very important element of research is extraction of knowledge from different sources, both explicit and implicit.
The main problem undertaken in the project is how the crisis management operations in various, most simplified way, will join land, maritime and air combined actions on the levels of EU and member states structures at the local government, government and transnational levels, before, during and after the crisis caused by natural disasters.
Organisation of security management in emergency situations will be implemented by the Crisis Management Modelling Toolchain. It will consist of three main elements: 1) Knowledge Management System allowing gathering of information's and their descriptions in controlled natural language; 2) profound methodology of crisis management which will be undertaken and projected in future operations of EU members states with its institutions responsible in mentioned area; 3) fully operational toolchain for crisis management operations, in respect of prepares, conducting, estimation and elaborating future actions in virtual environment. The Crisis Management Modelling Toolchain will create an opportunity for complex and multi-faceted implementation of the rule of the hierarchy of actions in the possibly most simplified way, su
