Project Proposal

Title: Implementing the Program of Neurologic for Building the Economy based on Knowledge and the Knowledge Society

Type Details: The topic of the project encompasses an interdisciplinary research on the possibility of positioning the program of neurologic for supporting a scientific answer to the contemporary and future challenges that the European Union is to face while aspiring to the role of a world leader, in exerting considerable influence on the development of the global information society.
(A) The interdisciplinary research strategy for implementing the program of neurologic to carry out
(B) the new strategy of building the economy based on knowledge and the knowledge society, is to be a special goal of fundamental and applied research in every field of science.
Economic and decision processes do not take place without the influence of the human mind. Hence, the theory of mind should be a methodological basis for developing the economic theory and the theory of management. The first stage of the new strategy is to carry out tasks of creating the adequate theory of human mind. The second stage is to develop economic theory and management theory based on theses of the theory of mind. The third stage of the strategy consists in building economy based on the economic theory and the management theory which would be a knowledge developed on the methodological basis established by the theory of mind. Finally, according to the scientific vision of the research program of neurologic, information society is to be a knowledge society understanding the importance and indispensability of applying the adequate theory of human mind to control its own development.

Target Partner

Expertise: The main task of the project is to specify the interdisciplinary mainstream of research for carrying out the new strategy of building the economy based on knowledge and the knowledge society, in relation to the expected theoretical and practical consequences of executing the program of neurologic in such domain modules as:
1) cognitive science, logic, analytical philosophy and philosophy of science;
2) measurement science; biometrics, psychometrics, econometrics, sociometrics;
3) physical, biological and medical sciences;
4) behavioral sciences; psychology, pedagogy;
5) social sciences; sociology, economic and management sciences.
The sciences specified above have been put in such order not accidentally. The progress in every group of the sciences is determined by implementing the paradigm of neurologic in previous one, as well as its multiple interdisciplinary feedbacks. Thus, the progress in sociology, economics and management sciences is contingent upon solving interdisciplinary problems, to formulate the adequate theory of human mind as a methodological basis for the theory of society, the economic theory and the management theory. Technology of mind and technology of cognition will find application in solving interdisciplinary problems in sociology, economics and management sciences. Finally, the solving interdisciplinary problems to formulate the adequate theory of human mind turns out a sine qua non condition for building the economy based on knowledge and the knowledge society worldwide to secure the stable development of the global information society.
