The postgraduate students of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London, would like to announce an international postgraduate conference, to be held at SSEES in February 2009. This is the ninth event in a successful series of conferences, most recently held in London in 2006 and in Brno in 2007. The Conference is of a multidisciplinary nature and we invite papers which look at the phenomena of transition and transformation, from the field of political and social sciences as well as historical, literary and cultural studies.
