World Premier International Research Center (WPI) Initiative – positions opened for researchers from around the world.
In 2007, the WPI Program was lunched by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in a drive to build within Japan »globally visible« research centers that outstanding research environments of a top world level.
Five very highly promising project proposals were selected for grants by the Program Committee. These research centers currently have positions opened for researchers and are recruiting applicants from around the world.
