Freshmen Welcome

Freshmen Welcome is traditional event of the University of Ljubljana. Upon the start of a new period in life, the students are welcomed by the Rector of the University, the Mayor of the City of Ljubljana and other guests.
 

On first Monday of October, University of Ljubljana freshmen attend a fun and sociable event at Kongresni trg. At the same time University of Ljubljana Rector officially opens the new academic year.

The UL alumni attend the event passing useful information to students. We inform them about the values of UL alumni and what they can expect from their older colleagues. More information on Freshmen Welcome 2018 will be available in September 2018.
