On Thursday, 14 May 2026, the University of Ljubljana, in cooperation with the May Games student festival, organised a bicycle repair workshop at the student residence campus in Rožna dolina. The workshop was led by Matej Jager, a student at the UL Biotechnical Faculty.

Due to rain, the event was held in the basement of Student Residence Hall 3, although the weather did not deter cyclists from attending. During the three-hour workshop, maintenance work and repairs were successfully carried out on 12 bicycles, while participants also received useful advice on how to handle minor repairs themselves.

If you were unable to attend the workshop this time, a new bicycle service station has also been available on the Rožna dolina student residence campus since April 2026 for quick repairs in the event of flat tyres, slipped chains and similar issues. The station is located next to the sports hall.

We wish all workshop participants comfortable and safe cycling, and also encourage everyone else to make use of sustainable forms of mobility whenever possible.
