Study programme

ECTS credit points can be obtained for the first or the second cycle of the study programme.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in the first or the second cycle of a study programme of the University of Ljubljana. Requirement for taking the exam is 75% attendance of the course.

Methods of work

  • Tutorial: 60hrs.
  • Individual work: 30 hrs.

Assessment

The exam is scored from 110 in accordance with the Statutes of the University of Ljubljana. Theoretical (50%) and practical (50%) exam.

Equipment

Sports clothes, towel, bottle of water.

Content of ECTS sports subject

Theoretical content: sorts of elastic apparatus, historical overview and development, philosophy of workout, physiology of gymnastics

Practical content: correct execution of calisthenics, simple exercises on gymnastics apparatus, jumps on mini trampoline, trampoline, diving

Objectives and competences

Gymnastics as content with which we can develop and maintain motor abilities for normal and healthy life

ECTS sports subject specific competences: to master specific gymnastics exercises for everyday life

Intended learning outcomes

Theoretical and practical knowledge from performing gymnastics and its relation with other sciences, e.g. physiology, psychology, sociology, philosophy, history
