Assessment | Practical exam (60%), Theoretical exam (40%). The success of the exam is rated from 5-10 in accordance with the Statute of UL. |

Content of ECTS subject | - Definition of group fitness exercises , its manifestations
- effects of functional exercise (FE) on the cardiovascular system, neuromuscular and energy system, body weight,
- The impact of FE on the development of different motor skills; with the use of different movement structures and equipment
- Structure and characteristics of music and rhythm
- Planning exercise (type, intensity, duration, frequency of exercise)
- The technique of movement structures in aerobic exercise and their integration in the choreography
- Basic kinesiology of strength exercises
- Stretching and other methods of flexibility

Objectives and competences | The general objectives: - Raising awareness about the values of sport, its influence on positive attitudes to a healthy lifestyle.
- Eliminating and preventing the consequences of a lack of exercise or concern for the improvement of mental
- and physical abilities, health promotion and creative use of leisure time.
Subject-specific competencies: - • Proficiency in basic requirements of functional exercise
- • Preservation and development of cultural traditions, the acquisition of attitudes towards exercise as the basic elements of quality of life.
