Enrolment into the second or an higher study year. Selection after call for student tutors.

 

Learning and teaching methods  
  • Seminar: 3 hours.
  • Individual work: 115 hours.
  • Lectures: 2 hours.
  • Educational seminar/ workshop, problem-based learning, sharing experiences at the workshop, written reporting.
Assessment

NO NUMERICAL MARK; PASS/DID NOT PASS.

 

Content (Syllabus outline)  

1. Meeting of tutorial Assembly

2. Training seminar for tutors students

3. Individual and group work of tutors students

4. Reporting after each semester to tutorteacher about the nature of work, challengesand suggestions for improving the tutorial system

Tutors students work in the fields of: basic tutorship,course related tutorship, tutorship for students with special needs, tutorship for domestic and foreign exchange students.

Objectives and competences

The aim of the course is to provide information to tutors students and consolidate their competences:

• for implementation of psychosocial supportand for information-career support to students during their studies

• to increase advancement of students to thenext year,

• for advising students in the design of the elective part of the curriculum,

• for organizing and providing assistance in thestudy of individual courses or regarding themandatory practice

• for encouraging students to participate inextracurricular activities and

• to enable better social integration of foreign students, students with disabilities and students with special status.

Intended learning outcomes  

Knowledge and understanding:

- advising on academic and other problems,

- knowledge of rights and responsibilities of students and the needs and rights of foreign students, students with disabilities and students with special status,

- knowledge of the functioning of the Faculty Student Council at the Faculty and other forms of student organization and studentlife.
