Firstly, the students attend an introductory set of lectures on legal mechanisms for the protection against discrimination. This is followed by the integration of the participants into practical work. Secondly, training is organised as seminars held throughout the year in which the participating students, assisted by the mentor / lecturer, present to each other the mentoring organisations or institutions they are working with and the specific problems they encountered during their involvement in the practical work. Following the successful completion of the introductory (theoretical) training, the students areassigned to selected hoststate institutions (e.g. the Advocate of the Principle of Equality, the Human Rights Ombudsman) and NGOs (e.g. the Association Information Center Legebitra).Throughout the year, the students participate in legal work regarding protection against discrimination and promotion of equality under the guidance of external mentors, who are experts with extensive work experience in the respective field.
