In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Public Health, the Ljubljana University Medical Centre Department of Infectious Diseases, and the Ministry of Public Administration, the Government Communication Office established a uniform call centre that provides access to reliable information on the new coronavirus epidemic in Slovenia.

The University of Ljubljana is proud that around seventy senior students from the Ljubljana Faculty of Medicine are working at the call centre. The students are supervised and mentored by medical professionals and the representatives of various ministries. Since the call centre began operating, they have taken over 10,000 calls from citizens or over 1,100 calls a day.

The University would like to thank all students who are helping others, either by helping out at the call centre or by watching the children of those parents who cannot stay home due to the nature of their work.

The government call centre can be reached every day from 8 am to 8 pm at 080 14 04.
