The traditional 2017 Freshmen Welcome event at the University of Ljubljana will be held on Monday, 2 October 2017, at Kongresni trg in Ljubljana. The University of Ljubljana will again organise a very lively event on and below the stage. All 23 faculties and three academies of the University of Ljubljana will present their study programmes and extracurricular activities. A number of popular music and dance performers will ensure students a relaxed and happy transition to one of the most exciting periods of their life.

The official part of the event will begin at 5 p.m. with a festive opening of the new academic year and will end at 8 p.m. with a concert by a famous music band.
