2. Position: Assistant-researcher on the project Post-war transitions in gendered perspective: the case of the North-Eastern Adriatic region (EIRENE) (M/F)

Type of contract: temporary, for one year (presumably from 1st February 2019 to 31th January 2020)

3. Conditions for the position:
- Required education/level and field: doctoral degree (PhD) from the field of Humanities Sciencies;
- Knowledge of languages:
Italian: fluent (native speaker);
English: fluent (speaking, reading, writing);
Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian: fluent (speaking, reading, writing);
Slovenian: intermediate (reading), basic (speaking, writing);
German: intermediate (speaking, reading), basic (writing);
French: intermediate (speaking, reading), basic (speaking, writing);
Spanish: intermediate (reading), basic (speaking, writing).
- Desirable experience in managing research projects and experience in working with H2020 EU projects,
- MS Office,
- Other functional skills and competences:
Ability to manage project,
Ability to organize one’s own work and colleagues’ work,
Ability to analytically and scientifically formulate texts,
Rhetorical skills.

4. Job description:
- Scientific research work on the project;
- Research work in the long Post-World War I transition period (1918-1926), geographical focus on Fiume/Rijeka and Susak;
- Study of migrations between (1918-1926) and after the Second World War (1941-1949);
- Research work in Italian and Croatian archives;
- Cooperation of research activities with other research institutions;
- Professional cooperation with other researchers;
- Preparation of written reports and research studies, editorial work.
