For the eighth year in a row, the exhibition and convention centre Gospodarsko razstavišče will host the all-Slovenian Education and Career Fair Informativa. The event will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2016 and will be open to visitors between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Secondary schools, grammar schools, higher vocational colleges, universities, grant organizers, employment opportunity providers and others will present themselves at one place.

At this year’s event, the University of Ljubljana will supply visitors with more information about graduate and post-graduate study programmes. All on a single location, visitors will be welcomed by representatives of faculties and academies of the University of Ljubljana which perform programmes in the area of humanities, social sciences, linguistics, arts, natural sciences, engineering and technology. 

Among other things, Informativa has also prepared a short presentation for visitors entitled “Treading the set paths with the University of Ljubljana”, where we will provide information regarding studies at the University of Ljubljana, study support, possibilities of international exchange and practice, a range of extra-curricular activities and other activities available to students of the University of Ljubljana throughout their study. The presentation will take place on Friday, 22 January 2016, from 11 a.m. To 1:30 p.m., and on Saturday, 23 January 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in the large lecture hall. On Saturday, the participants of the event will be welcomed by the Rector of the University of Ljubljana Dr. Ivan Svetlik. Visitors will also have the opportunity to test themselves at solving nautical tasks, looking for test answers which will be locked in a vault, getting a look at a 3D printer, and admiring the unmanned aerial vehicle which was designed by students during their study and which brought them victory at a competition in America. Among other things, you will also have the opportunity to watch minor chemical experiments and enter the world of robotics by means of the YuMI robot, a compact robotic system which matches human dimensions according to the dynamics of work place and mechanism. 

All faculties and academies of the University of Ljubljana will also share their information through various programmes presented at their exhibition venues, plus there will be an interesting programme at the central site of the University City which will be aired live online.
