The Slovenian Innovation Hub, European Economic Interest Grouping (SIH EEIG), entered in the court register on 31 December 2015, has officially begun its operations.

In the beginning of January the Board of SIH met and adopted a work programme and a financial plan for 2016, which will be debated at the SIH Assembly.

At the Slovenian Innovation Hub we are currently dedicated to establishing two possible strategic development and innovation partnerships – Health and Medicine, and Food. We are working to establish a Network for innovative study environments.

The founding members of the Slovenian Innovation Hub are: AmCham Slovenija, BTC, DOBA, ELES, the EN-FIST Centre of Excellence, Gorenje, the Jožef Stefan Institute, the National Institute of Chemistry, KRKA, Lek, the Municipality of Ljubljana, the National Institute of Biology, Nova ljubljanska banka, the Slovenian Tool and Die Development Center, RIKO, the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region, SID – the Slovene Export and Development Bank, the Slovenian Business & Research Association in Brussels, Belgium, Špica International, Technology Park Ljubljana, Telekom Slovenije, Trimo and the University of Ljubljana.
