Between Tuesday, September 27th, and Friday, September 30th 2016, as well as on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016, the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra, Vrhnika will showcase fascinating experiments and workshops from various fields of mechanical engineering. 

The Days of Mechanical Engineering allow visitors to learn about mechanical engineering as a science with a far-reaching impact on the development of industry and society. The event seeks to present schoolchildren and secondary school students with new possibilities and opportunities to help shape creative, innovative approaches to solving challenges of the future.

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana they have prepared a range of interesting facts about laser measuring and automatic modelling of complex 3D shapes, mobile robots, drones, infrared thermal imaging, computer vision, hydraulics programming, vibration, welding simulations, laser engraving and many other exciting technologies.
