The Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, by obtaining the AMBA accreditation, has received another international recognition of excellence. Being the only school in the wider region to garner such recognition, it has become part of the elite group of triple accredited international schools, holding EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA international accreditations. This achievement places it among the top one percent of the best business and economics schools in the world. The triple recognition of excellence represents responsibility toward students, employees and all the stakeholders who shape and create the story of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. The accreditations also present a commitment to the high standards of quality in the field of business education, research, international integration and cooperation with the wider economy. 

The international accreditations enable our students and researchers to work in an international environment. The Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana has established a wide network of international partnerships with many of the best schools of business and economics with triple accreditation. The students can therefore enrol in student exchange programmes at one of its 190 partner schools from 44 countries around the world. 

The quality of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana is also internationally recognised. Each year the Faculty, within its student exchange program, enrols more than 350 foreign students. These numbers are supplemented by over 550 foreign students enrolled in the Faculty full time. The Faculty is also the home of renowned Slovene and international lecturers and researchers. Visiting professors often come from prominent foreign universities and scientific institutions: Harvard Business School (USA), Wirtschafsuniversiteit Wien (Austria), BI Norwegian Business School (Norway) and the University of Leuven (Belgium), to name a few. 

Studies on the basis of practical examples, acquisition of applicable knowledge and international experience, innovative study approaches and contact with employers all strengthen the quality of the graduates of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana in both the Slovenian and international job markets. Simply put, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana offers the best workforce in the field of business and economics.
