The University of Ljubljana Rectorate will host an exhibition by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design entitled ALUO 70 INDEKS, a presentation of all current lecturers at the Academy, which will open in Balcony Hall on Tuesday, 18 October 2016. The exhibition will be opened by the University Rector Dr. Ivan Svetlik.

With this exhibition, the Academy makes a symbolic return to the premises of the University Rectorate upon the closing celebration of its 70th anniversary, which opened on 8 October 2015 with a formal sitting.

By presenting all current lecturers at the Academy, ALUO 70 INDEKS seeks to show the diversity of artistic practices, professions and information pursued by the Academy while preparing its students for the contemporary world, in which creativity has become an essential element for developing as an artist and winning recognition.

At the opening, the public will get its first view of the ALUO LXX. Past, present, future catalogue, which was created last spring for the exhibition of UL ALUO students at the Jakopič Gallery.

The exhibition will be available for viewing at the Rectorate until 18 November 2016, every work day between 5 and 7 p.m.
