EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors

The EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors are a selected group of students working in synergy with the orientation/professional insertion services from their universities.
They aim to create a European network of job, internship, and apprenticeship offers, relayed through their social networks and those of EUTOPIA. They help students find companies domestically or abroad, and assist fellow incoming students from the EUTOPIA universities in their countries as well.

Furthermore, they organise workshops open to all students, professors and staff of the EUTOPIA alliance, with the goal of creating links between partners universities’ territories, and to build successful profiles within the EUTOPIA community.
Subjects of the workshops will cover the job culture in each country of the alliance and how to find jobs in them, career opportunities in European Institutions and many more!

If you want to be informed of all their activities and to know more about the career ambassadors in each EUTOPIA university, please check the link bellow!

Social Inclusion and Engagement in Mobility (SIEM) report launch

Social inclusion is a priority for the next Erasmus+ programme, but very little hard data is available on the accessibility of the current programme and what measures could be put in place to improve access and participation.

In the course of 2020, the Social Inclusion and Engagement in Mobility team, to which the EUTOPIA Inclusion team (WP5) provided valuable input, has worked to gather answers from over 12.000 students and 750 staff members across Europe and beyond.

Join SIEM March 31st, 14h to 16h CET, to learn more about our first research outputs, during the "Student & staff perspectives on inclusion and belonging in mobility" conference.

EUTOPIAn Futures – The future of Europe and the role of Higher Education in shaping it

A conversation with Federica Mogherini, Jonathan Holslag and Luc Soete

Zoom Webinar, 13 April 2021 19h – 21h CET

How is Higher Education best organized in order to rise to its infinitely ambitious goals?

With EUTOPIAn Futures, EUTOPIA wants to stimulate reflection on this very topic. On 13 April, join EUTOPIA, Brussels School of Governance and College of Europe in a conversation with rector Federica Mogherini, Prof. Jonathan Holslag and Prof. Luc Soete. And when EUTOPIA says ‘join our conversation’, we mean that in the most literal way.

What have you always wanted to ask rector Mogherini, prof. Holslag or prof. Soete?

Send us your burning questions and most pressing concerns, and perhaps you’ll be one of ten selected students from across Europe to join our virtual panel debate as a panelist!

EUTOPIAn Views

Most of you are probably still working or studying from home. You might look out of the same window every day. But what do you see?

What you see out of your window might not seem that different or unusual to you. For someone else it might be. Or maybe the similarities of what we see, no matter where in the world we are, help us see the things we have in common. To celebrate EUTOPIA Week Spring 2021, we’d like you to snap a picture of your everyday life.

Let others get a look outside by sending your photo to  before 5pm (CET) on Thursday 15 April.
Please include your name, where you are (Ljubljana, Mölndal or maybe even Rabat) and one to two sentences about your photo.

The winners will be announced on the last day of EUTOPIA Week Spring 2021, Friday 16 April.

In short, YOU are cordially invited to come discover the capital of Europe!

Come virtually join several weDISCOVER.brussels activities, such as: a city tour of Brussels, a visit to VUB’s cultural hub Pilar, a ‘How to pitch’ workshop, a masterclass with Oscar-nominated ‘For Sama’ director Waad al-Kateab, and an old-school hip-hop party with Brussels local celebrities Supafly and Lefto.
