Eurostat organizes series of competitions entitled “European Statistics Awards” in the fields of nowcasting and web intelligence. As part of the program, which will last until the end of 2025, Eurostat plans three annual series in nowcasting and several competitions in web intelligence.

The main goal of the competition is to discover promising methodologies and data sources that could be used to improve the production of European statistics.
