The Student Ombudsman’s Office is the University centre that serves to exercise the principles of equality and inclusion, protection of dignity, and respect of and custodianship over the rights of students. The Office acts as an intermediary between the academic environment and the broader society, aiming to strengthen the culture of an open and respectful attitude towards diversity. It is based on enforcing and promoting legal documents and guidelines for the development of an inclusive, tolerant and dialogue-driven academic community.
The Student Ombudsman's Office serves as a point of contact for students and employees who find themselves in distress due to unequal treatment and discrimination or have questions regarding how to ensure an inclusive (academic) environment.
