Application periods for Bachelor's and Single-cycle master's degree programmes 2024/2025
TIMELINE: Admission and recognition procedure for enrolment into bachelor and single-cycle master degree programmes
CANDIDATES OF EU MEMBER STATES & SLOVENIANS WITHOUT SLOVENIAN CITIZENSHIP
The first application period: from 20 February 2024 to 20 March 2024.
The second application period: from 21 August 2024 to 27 August 2024 - application possible for:
- Candidates who did not apply in the first-round application period.
- Candidates who have not been admitted into any of the degree programmes specified in the first-round application.
- Candidates who have not enrolled in the degree programme to which they have been admitted in the first-round application period.
- Candidates who have deregistred from a degree programme by 16 August 2024 inclusive.
The application period for still-available enrolment slots: from 25 to 26 September 2024 until 10am- application possible for:
- Candidates who did not apply in the first or the second application period,
- Candidates who were not admitted to any degree program in the first or the second application period,
- Candidate who were admitted to the degree program that will not be implemented.
NEW: Citizens from non-EU countries, who have completed their high school education in the Republic of Slovenia and have final certification of high school in Slovenia (MATURA) can also apply for SLO/EU enrollment places. These students do not pay tuition fees for full-time studies (even if there is no agreement between the two countries).
CANDIDATES OF NON EU COUNTRIES
The first application period: from 20 February 2024 to 19 April 2024
The second application period: from 3 to 4 September 2024 at the UL members which will announce available enrolment slots.
In this period, the still-available enrolment slots are only available to the candidates who have:
- a decision on the recognition of foreign education issued in the first application period at the University of Ljubljana this year and are not enrolled after the selection procedure in the first application period,
- a decision on the recognition of foreign secondary educational qualifications issued before 2005,
- finished secondary school in SFRY before 25 June 1991,
- the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the European Baccalaureate Certificate,
- a decision on the recognition of foreign secondary education issued by other universities and independent higher education institutions in Slovenia with permanent validity.
