Admission is limited to students enrolled to the 6th year of the study. The course is limited to 16 students. Lectures and seminar are open to all 6th year students.

Diseases and Health Care of Ruminants
The subject is divided into lots: • Sheep and goat rearing conditions (housing, nutrition, behaviour) • Clinical examination of small ruminants (individual and herd) • Infectious diseases • Parasitic diseases • Metabolic and other diseases • Neonatal disease • Herd health of sheep and goats • Obtaining appropriate samples for the purpose of disease diagnosis and selection of diagnostic tests.
Enrolment in the study year. Attendance at practical training is obligatory.

Equine Sports Medicine
The syllabus is defined to discuss: • performance evaluation, • physiological model of the equine athlete, • adaptation to exercise – fit athlete, • adaptation to exercise – non fit athlete, • diet of the equine athlete, • medical problems arising from exercise, • therapy of the equine athlete, • performance enhancing drugs.
Students must be enlisted/registered in the 6th year of the veterinary program.
