The master study programme Technical safety is designed to qualify professionals able to implement strategies for safe work into processes based on the risk analyses before the implementation of projects, and carry out research in the fields of occupational safety, fire safety and environmental safety, thus contributing to the general safety scheme as well as the discipline itself.
The master study programme Maritime studies consists of three optional study orientations: Maritime systems, Maritime engineering, and Marine studies. Graduates are granted access to the doctoral degree programme of Maritime Studies and Transport. The programme encompasses the legally defined objectives of master degree programmes, research and professional elements, characteristics of contemporary and sustainable maritime industry, and internationally recognized professional goals suited to the level of second-cycle studies. The provision of knowledge and skills during study enable graduates to continue studies at a doctoral study level or find employment in the fields of research and development, services in the maritime, marine, transport, and traffic industries as well as activities accompanying these sectors, public administration, economic and interest associations, etc.
The master study programme Transport consists of three optional study oritentations: Transport technology, Transport logistics, and Traffic safety. Graduates are granted access to the doctoral study programmes Maritime studies and transport. The main objective of this programme is to upgrade the professional knowledge and skills necessary for efficient problem-solving in the fields of transport studies, the development of the ability of communication within this discipline and across disciplines, the development of a critical professional stance and responsibility as well as the ability of independent decision-making and leadership. The experts - graduate of this s study programme are qualified for the planning and implementation of services in accordance with the characteristics of transport, traffic, and logistics processes, exploitation of traffic infrastructure and transport means in integrated transport, and traffic safety, all in accordance with technical-technological, natural, geo-traffic, human resources, legal, economic, information, telecommunication, and other conditions of integrated transport modes.
The master study programme Kinesiology – exercise and health orientation is a continuation and the upgrade of the bachelor study programme Kinesiology. The main aim of this programme is to give students competences in the field of planning and implementation of the health enhancing physical activity programmes for adolescents and adults.
