The experts - graduate of this s study programme are qualified for the planning and implementation of services in accordance with the characteristics of transport, traffic, and logistics processes, exploitation of traffic infrastructure and transport means in integrated transport, and traffic safety, all in accordance with technical-technological, natural, geo-traffic, human resources, legal, economic, information, telecommunication, and other conditions of integrated transport modes.
The master study programme Kinesiology – exercise and health orientation is a continuation and the upgrade of the bachelor study programme Kinesiology. The main aim of this programme is to give students competences in the field of planning and implementation of the health enhancing physical activity programmes for adolescents and adults.
The main objective of the master's degree program in Kinesiology is to educate exercise professionals for planning, implementation and supervision of physical activity and exercise programs for adults with certain chronic non-communicable diseases and people with acute and / or chronic locomotor injuries after rehabilitation process is finished.
The program originated from the needs of connecting sports and medical skills in the field of training of adult persons, which may have above mentioned health issues. The proportion of persons with certain medical conditions is increasing with advanced age, so the special care in the program is intended for the elderly population.
Students will learn about the basic bio-psycho-social characteristics of these groups of people, especially those that are important in terms of their physical exercise. They will develop the ability for team work and good communication in a professional team, learn about health risks associated with exercise, learn the appropriate screening for exercise, and know possible contraindications for exercise. They will be able to plan, organize, implement and supervise training and exercise programs for adults, older people, and all people with certain chronic diseases and people with acute and / or chronic injuries.
