APPLICATION DEADLINES FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS

15 May for the winter semester/full academic year 
15 November for the summer semester

In the Republic of Slovenia, academic year starts on 1 October and ends on 30 September. Every year, the study calendar specifies the duration of organised study activities, examination periods, school holidays, public holidays and of the university week. The academic calendar may differ from one University member to another. Please check the website of a particular University member (academy/faculty) for details.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR 2021 - 2022

  • Semester 1/winter semester: 1 October 2021 – 14 January 2022
  • Winter Examination period: 17 January 2022 - 11 February 2022
  • Semester 2/summer semester: 14 February 2022 – 27 May 2022
  • Summer Examination period: 30 May 2022 – 1 July 2022
  • Autumn Examination period: 16 August 2022 – 9 September 2022
  • Lectures free period: 1 January 2022, 18 April 2022, 27 April 2022, 2 May 2022
