Information regarding room or apartment rental:
Possibility of residing in Student resident halls (Študentski domovi)
Slovenians with no Slovenian citizenship receiving a scholarship by the Republic of Slovenia (Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia) may apply for a room at the Student resident halls. The Regulations on fees and accommodation in students’ dormitories for Slovene nationals without Slovene citizenship and foreigners in the Republic of Slovenia provide that up to 250 places are to be offered in Student resident halls for the recipients of ministry scholarship. Available places for the residence of scholarship recipients are assigned by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in cooperation with scholarship providers. Recipients of ministry scholarships are charged a subsidised rent. The Ministry or scholarship provider pays the rent directly to the student dorm, i.e. from the scholarship amount granted. All rooms are double-bedded with a common bathroom and kitchen.
