Special note for prospective students

Dear candidates, dear prospective students,

We would like to inform you that you do not need the service of agents and agencies for application into the University of Ljubljana degree programmes. Recently we’ve been spotting some misuse of the name University of Ljubljana and data regarding application and admission procedure from some recruitment agents and agencies. The University of Ljubljana does not issue offer letters.

We publish the Call for enrolment into bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programmes and all relevant information at our website, usually at the beginning of February for the next academic year. Slovenia has national on-line system for enrolment and recognition of foreign education. Candidates have to submit the application for enrolment and recognition of foreign education through eVŠ web portal. After submitted application candidates receive call for sending required documents for recognition of foreign education and information about the test of ability, capacity and skills and Slovenian language exam (if required). After selection procedure candidates receive letter of acceptance or non-acceptance. Accepted candidates have to enroll at the Academy / Faculty to which they were accepted (they receive information from the Academy / Faculty about the enrolment).

At www.uni-lj.si/study you can find informational guides which have been specially designed for international students who intend to study at the University of Ljubljana, information about degree programmes, contact persons at the academies/faculties and additional useful information that will ease your start here.

You are also welcome to join us at the portal called POPR – Personal and Professional Development Portal, where you can make an appointment for online counselling on the application-admission procedure for bachelor's and single-cycle master's studies (Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.). You can register here.
