The construction of buildings of the UL FKKT and the UL FRI is the largest project in Slovenia receiving the EU ERDF grant. The University acquired 88 million EUR of EU grant funding for the construction of new buildings of the two University faculties. Besides being the largest project in the history of the University of Ljubljana, the project is also a significant contribution to the Slovenian economic growth. It is also a unique project in Slovenia, being the first research and education infrastructural project obtaining such a large amount of granted funds.
