PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

University teacher of Italian Literary Studies (M/F)
Status: full-time
Type of contract:  permanent

3.Conditions for the position:

• Required education/level and field: doctoral degree (PhD) in Literary Studies focusing on Italian  languages and Literary Studies 
• Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Italian Literary Studies
• Relevant academic publications
• Experience in university teaching and rhetorical skills
• Innovativeness
• Knowledge of Slovene (Minimum Common European Framework for Languages: C1)

4.Job description:

• forming and updating the syllabus and adjusting university and higher education programmes according to the requirements,
• organizing and co-organizing all activities for the realization of the course in accordance with the syllabus and expert's findings, coordination of work and supervising other teachers (assistants, technical and other co-workers) of the same course,
• teaching, i.e. lecturing, managing seminars and other pedagogical activities of the course at undergraduate and post-graduate levels,
• managing, evaluating and correcting exams and tests,
• directing research work, directing the study activities of students and supervising students’ seminars, diploma works, MA and PhD theses, and other works,
• scientific-research, study and development of concepts, theories and methods

5.Job starting date:  October 1st, 2011

6.Salary: In accordance with the collective agreement.
