The Urban Education Week, complemented by previous weeks of online work among EUTOPIA students, took place in Brussels at the end of March. The week, which was full of networking between research and practice across the city, was also attended by representatives from UL.

At the end of March 2023, five students and a professor from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of UL visited the partner university Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB) in the framework of the EUTOPIA learning unitUrban Education. The theme was Inclusive Education - an analysis of the state of learner inclusion in two representative schools in the city of Brussels and a study of the possibilities of urban education models in nationally, racially, culturally and socially diverse learner groups. The transdisciplinary experience and competences acquired enrich the study activities continued by the students and the professor at their home institution. The cooperation abroad was made possible through support for existing cooperation in EUTOPIA learning communities and the University of Ljubljana's Development Pillar of Funding.

Mobility was also a motivation for the host university VUB in the concurrent implementation of the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme(BIP), in which NTF representatives worked with students and professors from Paris, France (University Cergy Paris, Faculty of Sciences de l'éducation et de la formation) and Cluj-Napoca, Romania (Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Geography), in addition to their Belgian counterparts and NTF representatives from the University of Applied Sciences (University Cergy Paris, Faculty of Sciences de l'éducation et de la formation) and the University of Applied Sciences (University Cergy Paris, Faculty of Sciences de l'éducation et de la formation), Cluj-Napoca, Romania (Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Geography), in addition to their Belgian counterparts.
