About the programme

The interdisciplinary academic bachelor study programme Administrative informatics, provided by the Faculty of Administration and the Faculty of Computer and Information Science provides students with diverse, interdisciplinary knowledge in administration and information science.

With such diverse knowledge, students should have the necessary competencies for an in-depth understanding of administration, governance, and management processes, their critical analysis, and development of information solutions that present a foundation for their better implementation.

Programme graduates will be able to develop and maintain comprehensive information solutions, both the information systems as well as the necessary hardware and software. The study programme will thus train modern experts in the field of administrative information science, capable of pursuing a career in public administration, public sector, or enterprise sector at home or anywhere in the European Union.

The basic goal of the programme is to offer students a greater selection of content provided by the faculties. Mobility of students who will be able to participate in different academic environment, will ensure a higher quality of study, as both faculties endeavour to provide as high a quality of the study programme as possible.

With mobility and joint work of students and teachers of partner faculties, the joint study programme introduces an interdisciplinary dimension, thus increasing the value of results of the pedagogic and research and development work, and enhancing graduate employability.
