Guidelines for Ethical Conduct in Research involving people
In order to ensure optimal protection of the interests and well-being of participants in scientific research work within the University of Ljubljana, the University of Ljubljana's Commission for Ethics in Research Involving Work with Human Subjects is involved in the process of its preparation.
Jurisdiction of Commities
The Committie decides on applications for ethical review of research project proposals when they are requested by the (co-)performers or (co)authors of the UL research.
The Committee shall decide on applications for ethical review of research conducted within the UL or involving doctoral students or UL employees as researchers, involving human subjects, which must be conducted at university level because of the multidisciplinary nature of the research or because the research is being conducted in a Member State where there is no such committee.
