The aim of the bachelor’s degree programme Music education is to educate students for planning and teaching music education and leading choirs at the primary and secondary school level in general education as well as for teaching at the preschool level in music schools under supervision of a competent teacher.
Furthermore, the study educates students for planning and leading programmes for other target audiences in the field of informal education as well as for work in a team environment together with teachers, parents and the technical staff.
The programme gives graduates the necessary knowledge for planning and teaching music education and choral singing.

The fundamental objectives of the master's study programme of the second level of Andragogy relate to several levels of competence and to several profiles of the work performed by an andragogue as an expert in the education and training of adults. In addition to these, they develop specific competencies that enable them to understand the relationships between andragogical phenomena and processes, the social and cultural environment, and the characteristics and expectations of individuals. Professional competences enable them to understand and solve problem situations that arise in these relationships, to understand and organize adult education as a social and individual process.
The study programme trains for responsible action in the education of adults in various organizations and environments. Graduates are qualified to research and develop andragogical theory and practice. They cultivate an active attitude towards the profession, take care of their professional development, take into account multiculturalism, synergism, globalism, complexity of theoretical concepts, and are able to establish a reflexive and plural attitude towards truths. The programme develops skills to maintain and expand knowledge and the ability to transition into the field of innovation.
It prepares students for solving andragogical issues related to the organization and management of educational projects and institutions, developing educational programmes, and for independent work in andragogical counselling and the use of various andragogical methods.
The basic goal of the academic bachelor study programme Art Pedagogy is to qualify students to execute a quality educational programme for pupils on both the class level and subject level at primary and secondary school in cooperation with a team of teachers, professional workers and parents.
While attending the obligatory subjects of this programme students become familiar with and understand the specifics of the artistic development of the individual and how to nurture this development. They gain theoretical and practical knowledge from the design fields of drawing, painting, graphics, sculpture, architectural design and visual communication for arts activities in the primary and secondary school.
In the elective subjects of the programme the students gain a deeper knowledge in their interest areas.
The study programme Primary Education considers the basic principles of the European Higher Education Area as formulated in the Bologna Process. Completion of the first degree does not yet qualify the student for independent professional activity in the field of education. The fundamental aim of the program is to train students for continuation and completion of studies at the second level.
A wide range of subject areas and additional deepening of knowledge through electives enable graduates of the first level to be employed and to work independently in other social activities and free-lance professions.
The basic goal of the academic bachelor programme Social pedagogy is to qualify students for quality preventive, developmental, compensational, educational and socially inclusive social pedagogical work with individuals, groups and communities in the area of supporting and helping people to master their lives in various life periods and situations.
The study goals include achieving an ability to work in various institutional and informal environments in which social pedagogy operates. The study programme conveys the basic theoretical knowledge, along with the competences required for both practical work and research work in the area of social pedagogy.
The general goal of the study is to offer a qualification for the theoretically reflective analysis of social phenomenon, institutions and professional work in the context of the life sphere of the individual, with an emphasis on intercultural and anti-discriminatory work. An important goal is the acquisition of the basic and broadly transferable knowledge that will enable graduates, in the process of lifelong learning, to continue to seek out sources and ways of gaining the specific knowledge and skills required in their work on their own.
The basic goal of the academic bachelor study programme Special and rehabilitation pedagogy is to qualify students for the quality execution of the continuum of programmes of inclusive educational and rehabilitation work with people with special needs in various organisational forms, institutional and informal environments and in all life periods.
In the process of education, students of special and rehabilitation pedagogy will acquire: the basic theoretical knowledge and understanding of the fields of fundamental and specialist pedagogical study and of the rehabilitation of people with special needs,
The academic bachelor study programme Speech and language therapy is based on research in the field of humanities, social sciences, medical and natural sciences.
Since the programme trains for different areas of work in the sectors of social activities, education, health care, social care, employment, etc., it is based on interdisciplinary research findings and achievements of various sciences, such as linguistics, electroacoustics, medicine, pedagogy, sociology, psychology, philosophy, etc...
Speech and language therapy is a highly interdisciplinary science pertaining to humanities, medical and social science. The study of speech and language therapy and surd pedagogy trains experts for work on preventing, identifying, diagnosing and addressing the problems of human communication in order to understand the processes and functions associated with the perception and production of speech and language (verbal and / or non-verbal) regardless of the form of expression - in writing or orally, kinetic (sign language translation).
The study programme trains employees to address the provision of hearing aids and to carry out the necessary remedy work in relation to listening and speaking.

Graduates of the two-subject teacher education programme acquire basic content knowledge in two subject areas relevant to teaching in this subject, specific didactic knowledge in two selected subject fields, together with teaching practice.
The graduate is empowered with the basic content knowledge in pedagogical, psychological, philosophical and sociological sciences relevant to the educational practice. The programme enables students to continue their studies at the second Bologna level (Master degree) and thus become qualified to teach independently in educational institutions in both selected subject areas.
The basic goal of the professional bachelor study programme Preschool education is to qualify students for quality educational work with young children – preschool children and children in the first grade of nine year primary school and for cooperation with parents, co-workers and other professionals. In the process of education, students of preschool education become familiar with various concepts of childhood and education, and gain fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge from individual areas of kindergarten operation.
Graduates of the programme must know how to communicate with children and adults, and must be capable of planning, executing and critically analysing educational work. The elective subjects of the programme encourage students to gain a more in-depth training in those areas of work in kindergartens for which they have a special interest and ability.
An important goal of study is the acquisition of the fundamental and broadly transferable knowledge that will allow graduates, in the process of lifelong learning, to themselves seek out sources and ways of acquiring the specific knowledge and skills that they will need in work.
The single cycle (integrated) master study programme Mathematics education is designed for the education of mathematics teachers in high schools.
The structure and scope of its pedagogical courses meet the requirements for teaching of mathematics as an independent subject on all levels of pre-university education. Graduates of the programme can continue their studies in the third cycle.
They are qualified to teach mathematics in all types of high schools. They can find employment in institutions involved in the development of education. Given their ability of analytical thinking, they can also find employment in the business sector.
The academic study programme Physical education is tailor-made for students who wish to work in sports programmes for children and young people. In the course of study, students gain the state-of-the-art theoretical and practical knowledge that they need if working in various sports programmes intended for children and young people.
They become experts in the area of extra-curricular school sport activities in primary and secondary schools and other educational institutions or in the clubs and other private institutions.
