The Student Council of the University of Ljubljana is a body of the students at the University of Ljubljana. The Student Council consists of the presidents and vice presidents of the student councils of the University Members. The term of office of the Student Council Members is one year.
At the constitutive session, Student Council members elect their president and two vice-presidents and appoint a secretary from among themselves.
The Student Council discusses and submits its opinion on the University Statutes and all matters relating to the rights and obligations of students at the University of Ljubljana to the relevant university bodies. The Student Council puts forward an opinion on the candidates for university rector, elects the members of the university bodies and nominates candidates for their working bodies from among the students.
