In the 2020/2021 academic year, the University of Ljubljana is issuing a Call for Enrolment in 21 doctoral study programmes.
The Call comprises a joint part, which contains relevant information on the Call for Enrolment, and a special part, in which individual doctoral programmes are presented in greater detail, along with the member institutions implementing the programmes (faculties and academies), the envisaged number of enrolment places, application deadlines and other information and instructions relevant for the candidates. In accordance with Article 13 of the Rules and Regulations on Doctoral Study at the University of Ljubljana, a candidate is obliged by the end of the application deadline to come to an agreement with a higher education teacher or a scientific researcher to serve as mentor/co-mentor, whereby upon enrolment, at the latest, the student will submit both the teacher’s/researcher’s consent to take up mentoring/co-mentoring and a short conceptual design of the research work.

Selection criteria in the event of restricted enrolment:
Should a resolution on enrolment limitation be adopted (if the number of applying candidates who meet the enrolment criteria exceeds the number of enrolment places), candidates will be selected according to:
performance in second-cycle study programme (20% weighting)

- in an integrated master's programme consisting of 300 ECTS credits or
